Note: Again the Lady Patriots had their fast break offense going off rebounds and steals to win easily over the outmanned Lady Raiders. Kara Beck had a career night with 16 rebounds and 11 points and Gina Easler recorded another double double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Note: The fired up Patriots pulled a major upset with the victory. Wardlaw did an outstanding job on blocking the taller Raiders out and getting some key rebounds in the game. Still, the tight Raider zone forced Wardlaw to shoot 40% of their shots from behind the arch where they hit 7 of 20. Grame Dawe had a career night hitting 5 of 9 three pointers on the way to a 19 point night. Harrison Courtney had 12 points and 15 rebounds to score another double double. Stephen Balentine and Coty Courtney chipped in 13 and 12 points.

Note: The Lady Patriots jumped off to a 12-0 lead and never looked back. The Lady Patriots scored 20 first quarter points off fast breaks to demolish the Lady Raiders. Katelyn Rearden led the scoring with 18 points followed by Peyton Baynham and Gina Easler with 14 each. Easler came away with 18 rebounds that helped with the fast breaks.

Note: The Patriots after playing the Raiders Tough in the first half completely fell apart in the second half. Jefferson Davis went on a 16-0 run to open the second half taking advantage of ten Patriot turnovers. The Patriots playing without starter Harrison Courtney due to illness had no answer for the taller Raiders as Nic Jamison and Edward Givens had several put back baskets. Jamison had 21 points to Givens 19.
Stephen Balentine and David Terry led Wardlaw with 9 points each.
This week the Patriots will open region play with games at Newberry Academy on Tuesday and will be home on Friday playing Anderson Christian. They will also play Augusta Christian on Saturday at home in non-region play. GIRLS:
